Commercial Construction, Planned to the Last Detail

CDL Construct has been building across the Seacoast since 1970. We take on mid-sized commercial projects for owners, developers and property managers in New Hampshire, Southern Maine and Northeastern Massachusetts: bank branches, restaurants, retail spaces and warehouse fit-outs.

We handle the whole job under one roof: pre-construction planning, permits, bids, site work with our own excavation crew, the build itself and closeout. You deal with the owners directly, from the first site walk to the final punch list.

Commercial Construction FAQ

  • What size projects do you take on?

Mid-sized commercial work: bank branches, restaurants, retail and office fit-outs, warehouse build-outs and small multi-unit buildings.

  • Do you work from our architect's drawings?

Yes. We bid and build from your plans, and our in-house design team can help with layouts when you don't have full drawings yet.

  • Can you handle the site work too?

Yes. We run our own excavation equipment for clearing, grading, utilities and foundations, so there's one contractor responsible from the ground up.

  • Can you keep our business open during a renovation?

Yes, when a project calls for it, we can phase the work so parts of your business stay open. A closed space usually means a faster, less expensive job, so we'll talk through the options during pre-construction.

  • Where do you work?

Seacoast New Hampshire, Southern Maine, Massachusetts' North Shore and the Merrimack Valley, including Portsmouth, Exeter, Kittery, York, Newburyport, Ipswich, Salem, Andover and Tewksbury.
